The honest answer to “how much does a deep plane facelift cost in Turkey?” is: it depends on what your operation actually is. There is no standard deep plane facelift — and any single number you see advertised describes a package, not your surgery. On this page I explain what genuinely drives the cost, what a serious quote should include, and how to compare quotes safely — without publishing a price list, because I plan every operation individually.
The Five Factors That Drive the Cost
1. The surgical plan itself. An isolated deep plane facelift and a comprehensive plan — extended deep plane with deep neck lift, blepharoplasty, facial fat transfer and CO₂ laser in one session — are very different operations in scope and operating time. The plan is the largest single cost driver everywhere in the world, including Türkiye.
2. Operating time and anaesthesia. Longer, combined operations mean more theatre time, a longer general anaesthesia with full monitoring, and a larger surgical team.
3. Hospital care. In my protocol you spend two nights in a full-service hospital with close monitoring — not an outpatient discharge. Hospital level and length of stay are real cost components, and they are also safety components.
4. Recovery and aftercare. International patients stay roughly two weeks in Istanbul: recovery-hotel accommodation, scheduled in-person checks, and a structured remote aftercare programme after you fly home. Aftercare that actually exists costs something; its absence costs more later.
5. The surgeon. Experience, technique and how much of the operation the surgeon personally performs are part of what you are paying for — in every country.
What Are You Actually Paying for in a Deep Plane Facelift?
You are paying for surgical judgement and execution — not for a destination. The real components: a personalised surgical plan built on your anatomy; the surgeon's experience and how much of the operation they personally perform; operating time under full general anaesthesia with a dedicated team; a full-service hospital with two nights of close postoperative monitoring; recovery-hotel care with repeated in-person surgeon assessments; and a structured aftercare programme that continues after you fly home. Remove any of these and the price drops — along with what you actually receive.
Costs in Türkiye can be lower than in the US or UK for structural reasons — general cost levels and hospital pricing, not the standard of care. But that is context, not the reason to choose a surgeon. The plan defines the cost; the cost does not define the plan.
What a Serious Quote Should Include
When you receive a quote — from me or anyone — it should be itemised and written, and it should answer:
- Exactly which procedures are included, by name
- Who performs the surgery, and their board certification
- Which hospital, and how many nights
- What anaesthesia, administered by whom
- What follow-up is included in Istanbul, and what aftercare after you fly home
- How complications and revision policy are handled
If a quote is a single round number with the word “all-inclusive” and no surgical detail, you do not yet know what you are buying.
Red Flags When Comparing Quotes
- A price quoted before anyone has examined your photos or medical history
- Pressure to pay a deposit quickly, or “today-only” pricing
- No named surgeon, or no verifiable board certification
- Surgery in a clinic rather than a full-service hospital, for a long combined operation
- No written aftercare plan for international patients
A deep plane facelift is a technically demanding operation close to the facial nerve. The cheapest quote is not a bargain if the operation, the setting or the follow-up is not right — and the most expensive quote is not automatically the best surgery either. Judge the plan, the surgeon and the setting; the price then makes sense in context.

My pricing is built on your individual surgical plan, the hospital environment, anaesthesia, postoperative monitoring and structured aftercare. Within that context: yes, costs in Türkiye are generally lower than in the US or UK for structural reasons — lower cost of delivery, not lower standards, when you choose a properly credentialled surgeon and a full-service hospital.
What payment details should I check?
Ask for the itemised quote in writing, confirm what is and is not included (hospital, hotel, transfers, medications), and clarify payment methods and any card processing details in advance — before you travel.
