Wrinkle treatment with injections is a procedure that temporarily paralyzes the muscles in the injected area, preventing contractions and thereby reducing wrinkles caused by movement.

What should be considered after wrinkle treatment with injections?

Within the first 24 hours after the procedure, it is important to avoid external factors such as exercise, sauna, steam room, or hair dryer that may cause excessive sweating or heating of the treated area. Avoid rubbing the treated area for 4 hours after the procedure, as well as bending forward or lying down. Any redness on the skin that occurred during the procedure typically disappears within 15-20 minutes.

When does the effect of wrinkle treatment with injections start? How long does it last?

The effect of the treatment starts around the 3rd day and reaches its full effect by days 10-14. The immobility of the muscles gradually decreases within 4-6 months, and the muscles return to normal. Since the effect of the medication completely disappears after 6 months, there is no permanent effect or harm to the muscles.

Who should not undergo wrinkle treatment with injections? Can it be done in the summer?

Wrinkle treatment with injections should not be performed during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in the presence of certain neurological conditions.
